Harbour Theatre presents
Ladies Down Under
The fish-filleting foursome are celebrating in style with a trip to Australia. We follow shop-a-holic Shelley, pragmatic Pearl, mumsy Jan and big-hearted Linda as they travel from Hull to the Gold Coast, Uluru and the bright lights of Sydney.
On their way they embark on a journey of self-discovery meeting various hunks of Antipodean manhood including a couple of drag queens on their way to the Sydney Mardi Gras. While Shelley sees there's more to Oz than sun-kissed beaches, Pearl finds herself with a mountain to climb and Jan and Linda realise what is most important in their lives.

LOOKING for something to do on Monday nights?
Get out of the house and out and about...
Quiz Meisters Trivia (QMT) is kind of like sucking milk up through a Tim Tam.
You’ve never tried this? Go do it now!
Normal questions are transformed into little skits; mundane 50/50s are given
their own stupid songs
and animated screen time;
favourite movie scenes are ruined by hilariously shit re-enactments.

Goldfields Repertory Club presents
The Convict's Opera
The story tells of a group of convicts who are sentenced to transportation to Australia and gain permission from the captain to put on a play, The Beggar’s Opera.
This play within a play contains common thieves, a respectable forger, whores, an arsonist and political prisoners. The anti hero, MacHeath, gives us shades of Ned Kelly and the Bushrangers. We identify with them and our own convict history.
The Convict’s Opera features a collection of traditional airs from Beggar’s Opera, and contemporary songs, such as “You’re so vain”, “Stand by Me,” and “Hey Big Spender”

Old Mill Theatre presents
Life x 3
WHAT would happen if everyone arrived 24 hours early for a dinner party?
That’s the question posed in Life x 3, an amusing commentary on vanity, professional insecurity and the changing states of marriage at the Old Mill Theatre this August.
Written by French playwright Yasmin Reza and directed by Eliot McCann, the play is described as a comedy of errors from three different angles.
